In Memory of Carlos Mendes Moura
December 2009
It is with great sadness that we post this news update and advise that Carlos Moura, until recently landlord of the Waggon and Horses in Worcester Street, Stourbridge, passed away on Thursday 10th December 2009 following a heart attack.
Everyone at Enville Brewery was deeply shocked by this news and we join together in sending our love and deepest sympathy to his beloved wife Paula, and all his family and friends.
Carlos was a special friend to Enville Brewery. The Waggon and Horses became our first 'Tap House' just over a year ago and Carlos was passionate about keeping cask ale in the finest condition for his
customers to enjoy.
He loved having fun and making others happy, playing darts, preparing wonderful tapas dishes, hosting BBQs, putting on live music and doing anything and everything he could to help his friends. Our biggest sadness is that we only knew him for a short time but long enough to know that his enthusiasm, warmth, sense of humour, welcoming smile and above all, caring nature will live on with all who knew him.
God bless you Carlos,
from all of us
at Enville Ales.
These photos will remind us of him as we're sure he'd like to be remembered.
